Our Project Experience

Delivered analytics platform for a substantial chemical program integrating chemical usage data from 7 chemical vendors and production data from production accounting and SCADA. The platform was deployed through the company’s corporate PowerBI environment for seamless access for users at all levels. Program resulted in higher treatment accuracy - variance dropped to 8% versus the previous levels of 15% to 20%. This resulted in longer production runs, lower dewax costs and better asset integrity.

Deployed inventory management and reporting platform for a specialty chemical vendor to reduce time spent sorting through spreadsheets. The vendor was losing customers due to poor reporting which was not communicating the value of their service and treatment programs, and costing field staff many hours of effort each month. The Embark solution resulted in the equivalent of 30 days/month of time save for field and admin staff, and improved customer satisfaction and retention. Delivery Tickets are now streamlined to invoicing to improve cash flow. The company also realized a 13% reduction in field service costs as a percentage of gross margin.

Deployed Paraffin Management - Optimization Solution to provide analytics of program efficiency and to optimize programs based on production, pressure, temperature, dewax events and artificial lift. An optimization platform was setup to continuously optimize treatment program based on all factors, with real time data and instantaneous treatment rate adjustments based on program rules developed and fine tuned with past performance. Overall Treatment and Dewax Cost/BOE fell by $0.78, and treatment variance fell to under 5% from and average of 18% prior to solution deployment. Production increased through longer production runs and fewer downtime events, and the solution saved dozens of hours per month of time spent manually adjusting programs to optimize.
