Embark Innovations Announces Strategic Partnership with Reidterra Inc.

Calgary, Alberta – Embark Innovations announced today that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Reidterra Inc. for the sale and distribution of Reidterra’s patented field identification products. Reidterra manufactures industry standard field identification markers for buried assets, including Tracer Wire Stations and ProMark™ signs for buried steel pipe. Tracer Wire Stations are ideally designed to meet the new CSA Z662-15 guidelines for pipeline installation under section 13.1.4.1. “There are substantial OPEX cost savings that can be realized with proper identification of field assets – from line locating to unnecessary hydrovac expenses” commented Michael Jones, CEO of Embark Innovations. “And when a problem situation does arise, valuable time can be saved by having asset information in the field where it is needed.” Mike Reid, CEO of Reidterra Inc., is an experienced field operator who invented and patented these identification markers to meet an important, ongoing need – understanding what buried assets are in the field and where those assets are connected.
